The
Coffee
A
bit of history...
If
the legend wants that the first who had discovered the
stimulating properties of coffee was an Ethiopian goats
caretaker, the Muslims dervishes priest were than who
tad let the rest of the world know about it. The first
bags of coffee had arrived on the harbour of Marseilles
in 1644, thanks to Jean de la Roque. But only since
1669, it had defiantly conquered Paris with the ambassador
of Turkey, Soliman.
Today, the coffee is cultivated in more than 75 countries,
for a production that amounts to more than 6 million
tons. After water, it is the most consumed drink in
